New Brain Food!

At last! -  "Crazy Machines - New Challenges" takes you right into the second round of the Think Tank contest!

Over 100 fantastic new levels, 10 new elements and many clever enhancements will prove a hard test for all you modellers and logical thinkers! The new elements and new functions for existing components breathe exciting new life into the Professor's experiments - how will the experiment react to the moon's gravity?  What will happen when a cannon is fired and the after effects of the shot actually change gravity?  How do you start a Zeppelin with the hand vacuum?  You'll get answers to all these questions and more in "Crazy Machines - New Challenges".

Of course you also have these new elements available in the Editor.  With the combination of the existing elements and these new functions, you can create crazy, breathtaking levels - levels that would have Einstein himself pulling his hair out in frustration!

All the way down!

The new Trap Door adds some real mental cruelty to the game.  A quick pull on the trigger and down, down, down plummets anything that happens to be standing on that trapdoor!

Every bowler's dream

With fuse burning, the bomb rolls to its target, clearing all obstacles in its way. In the current version, there are three different versions of bombs with different detonation times. So you can send your explosives rolling a long way to your chosen target before they blow up

Hot Stuff!

This nitro is the real McCoy - it'll explode with only the tiniest vibration.

Free Boards

Boards with eyelets enable you to build clever shelves and swings. When you combine this with the new characteristics of the crossbow, (splitting ropes, etc) fantastic tasks are pre-programmed for you!

Contact sought

A new switch gives you previously unheard-of possibilities: Just let something roll over it - it will activate an electrical circuit

Number 5’s alive!

This versatile robot model pushes, pulls and carries elements to their destination

A question of gear transmission ratio

The days when cogwheels turned uniformly are over. Now gear transmission ratios set the tempo.

Transport flyer

There are 2 elements for you here: the Zeppelin and the eyelet. The Zeppelin isn't only a thing of beauty - it's efficient too. Only the proper propeller setting will give you the correct flight trajectory

The Highlight

Along comes gravity and immediately you’ll have to answer some basic questions like “how will the experiment function” on Earth, on the Moon or in space? - and what will happen when the gravity in the experiment changes?

Vacuum

This clever element has proved very meaningful - that's why we added it to the range: the Vacuum sucks up larger elements like packing cases, etc. Small elements like e.g. rolling bombs or tennis balls are ejected upwards.

Can I load the experiments I designed with "Crazy Machines - The Inventor's Workshop" into the new version?

Unfortunately not! The new elements meant that we had to rebore the Physics Engine. So that's why experiments from "CM-The Inventor's Workshop" would really turn the whole physical world of the game upside-down.
