Brain Sport in the classical style!

Who doesn't know it - the cult game, "The incredible Machine®", - the one that captivated many computer gamers. So...DIY freaks, logical thinkers, and superbrains get ready! Moulded along the lines of that classic is yet another gem - "Crazy Machines - The Inventor's Workshop" - and this one will test your logic and inventive talent to the limits.

The task sounds easy enough, doesn't it? With the given parts, construct a machine that matches the objective of the game; but, as always, there are hidden pitfalls in there - how can I grill meat using a light bulb?, or, how can I get a flower to grow using a cannon or gun? These are all questions that you can answer during the game!

"Crazy Machines" won't only test your brainpower – it has features like particle systems, volumetric realtime shadows, clothing simulation – and you won't be able to get enough of the incredibly detailed machine parts designed by the prize-winning design team "DBKI" - graphics both powerful and impressive.

You want to create your own "IQ tests"? No problem! The user-friendly Editor will help you create your own level.

Mealtime

Lovingly-crafted details: roasted over a candle, the sausage will slowly brown on the spit. This’ll set the saliva swirling!

Colleagues together

The Professor comments on your performance – but don't count on helpful tips! You have to find the solution yourself - after all, you've trained for it with your academic course!

‘Simply complicated’

Many experiments in Crazy Machines look easy at first - but wait till you get into the world of detail in there!

Chain reactions

Whoever plays Crazy Machines better have a clear head and no blinkers on. The very fine planning of chain reactions will really heat up your thinking tank! As a reward, you'll not only get a much stronger ego, but you’ll have a beautiful, self-running experiment

BALLett

When balls enter the game, precision can be the order of the day... The collision-recognition program of the Physics Engine takes the rotation of specific balls into account – so when two rotating balls hit one another - well, the result will sometimes amaze you.

Rich in detail

The integrated Zoom function doesn't only bring the truly beautiful game elements closer to your disbelieving eyes -  in the Editor, the Zoom will also help you to fine-tune your experiment.

Playground for all kinds of modellers

In the Editor you can model away to your heart's content. Creating your own experiments is just as much fun as solving the provided puzzle – and of course you can import and export your experiments too!

How do I get the Junior Lab (German version)?

Simple - just click HERE !

Why are the system requirements so high?Crazy Machines uses some bang-up-to-date technologies that you would normally only find in fully-priced versions. The integrated Physics Engine simulates the machines with a tremendous amount of realism - and that's why it needs good  processor performance.

The demands on the graphics card arise from the high-resolution textures and 3D features like e.g., the volumetric shadow imaging process, also used in top titles like  Doom 3.

Work to your favourite song

Is the sound of the Professor's voice starting to grate a little? It's OK, you don't need to rush out and buy earplugs – you can’t do it in real life, but here you can shut your teacher up!  To switch off the commentary, just hit the Options button, then switch "Professor: ON" to "OFF"...bye-bye teacher! Ahhh, silence is golden!
